Pied Wagtails in York

The annual roost of Pied Wagtails in Parliament Street is building up. There were at least 350 on Thursday and yesterday, per @YorkBirding Twitter feed, there were 750. They are well worth visiting and don’t seem to worry about the activities below with the Christmas markets.
