Field meetings 2022

We are pleased to let you know that we plan to continue outdoor meetings in 2022. We will meet close to the destination. Note that these are not organised excursions but a chance to meet up with other members to do some birding. Most are day meetings on a Sunday but we do have some evening events as well.

Please continue to be mindful of Covid-19 restrictions as there is still a pandemic.

Details will be circulated via YorkBirding email, the website and at Zoom meetings. Please remember to bring waterproofs, packed lunch and drinks for days out. If you have a specific query, please contact the secretary ().

Please note the exact destination for the ‘East Coast’ trips will depend on where is looking good bird wise – for those of you who have not been on Club trips before, the usual spots are Filey, Flamborough/Bempton or Saltholme area. We would only do an extra trip to Spurn if the birds were exceptional, as we already have a trip planned there for October.
