Richard’s Pipit, Anthus richardi
Local status: Very rare vagrant
The first record of Richard’s Pipit in the York remains the sole June record for Yorkshire making this record all the more remarkable. The second record, in 2013 came on the much more typical date of 8th October.

1990: North Duffield Carrs, 20th and 26th June.
